Mohammed Arbab Issa Ibrahim was a 20-year-old student, living in the al-Wadi East neighbourhood of Zalingei, the capital of Central Darfur state.
On the evening of 5 November, shortly after evening prayers, Mohammed was stopped outside his home by members of the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group. The armed men tried to steal Mohammed’s mobile phone but when he resisted, they shot him. He died at the scene.
